This is a real treat in Saltillo. It has a very nice educational display to walk through on the history of the Sarape and how they are made. They had lots of beautiful Sarapes on display many in the gallery were made by local students. This museum also has a display room with traditional clothing from all of the different regions of Mexico. It was so nice to see the craftsmanship and hand embroidery on the clothing. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop which has local artists...

Cool spot to check out along with the numerous other museums in the city. Loved seeing all the different sarape styles and clothing. It's free to enter. We even got to learn how to make our own bracelets using the techniques used in making sarapes. I totally recommend...

Small museum but free and has a beautiful collection of textiles, very informative about the history of sarapes and process of creation (exhibits in Spanish), friendly guides, and a nice collection of clothing from different regions of México.
