Plaza de Armas — Attraction in Coahuila

The Central Zone and Plaza de Armas in Saltillo is very nice, and safe for visiting during the day. There are many things close by, Las Delicias de Mi General restaurant and The Saltillo Sarape are just down the street.

There is of course the State Government Palace of Coahuila, the Museum of Salas Carranza, and the Cathedral de Saltillo Santiago here. There are also restaurants across the street and along the Hildalgo Avenue. Parking is a task in the Central Zone, so you may need to park further South of the Plaza along the one-way street (many one ways in Saltillo) closer to The Saltillo Sarape.

The streets are cobblestone mostly in the Central Zone, and the infrastructure is old, so it gives a very historical context to everything. Cuando llegue a la ciudad mi impresión, fue ver la ciudad muy limpia, ese es un punto a favor, la ciudad es muy bonita tiene un clima muy frío muy rico para los que somos amantes del café con el frío se apetece mucho, visitar la catedral caminar por sus calles encontrarás edificios muy antiguos que caracterizan a Saltillo me gusto en cuestión de comida muy rico, su gente es muy amable como todo tiene su pro y su contra las tiendas oxxo, 7eleven no dan servicio de madrugada lo digo por experiencia propia otro detalle que igual los hoteles casi la mayoría permanecen cerrados osea si llegas entre las 3y4 de la mañana y te registran a las 12 ya lo tienes que desocupar por que tienen un sistema de entrada y salida como en todos lados el detalle que si te vas a registra por varios días tienes que esperar hasta el horario que tienen estipulado y mientras esas horas tiene uno que esperar al horario de entrada y así es en todos los hoteles que fuimos a buscar o estaban completamente cerrados o respetar sus reglas pero bueno esos 2 fueron los detalles que nos toco en este viaje de ahí todo estuvo super y si te toca estar en fin de semana hay barecitos con música relax, rock en vivo, banda en vivo música de antro y por supuesto para los amantes de los cafés también hay así que yo recomiendo mucho un paseo por Saltillo la Ciudad del Sarape o Jorongo aparte de toda la artesanía que vas a encontrar así que por todo esto y más yo te recomiendo visitar...
