I have had the honor of spending a day with Windseekers many times and have recommended this company to many friends. Never while onboard or after a recommendation has anyone said anything less than “more than I expected”. The communication with Windseekers is honest and open, with them listening to the customer concerning expectations and delivering every single time. This is a professional organization from first contact until the end of the day when the group is escorted to a taxi that they will even set up for you. The beautiful, well equipped, perfectly maintained boat could be one of the finest vessels on the island. It boasts his and hers restrooms and is very spacious. And bring your own soundtrack! There is Bluetooth and Starlink onboard. The guests not even needing to bring a towel. The safety is second to none. A professional briefing at the dock and if you pay attention a guest will never be in the water without an able employee close by. The captain is amazing. I have personally witnessed the captain stopping the boat and allowing a thunderhead to pass and then continuing. The thunderhead was not a safety issue, he only wanted the guests to stay comfortable and dry. And of course as everyone says the food onboard is of the caliber of a Michelin Rated Restaurant. Amazing. From the time of arrival until the end the feast on the table is just incredible. The guest leaves well fed to say the least. You want the lobster. Cooked fresh on board while the guest basks in the beautiful El Cielo in about three feet of the most beautiful water with stingrays, starfish, and close friends surrounding you on this private and beautiful day. On this last adventure Saul, who could be the nicest guy in Cozumel and certainly speaks better English than most North Americans I know, made sure our liquid refreshment was always full while we watched the world go by. Perfection apparently is the goal. The people. The captain and crew are amazing, professional, friendly and caring. From the uniform to their actions everyone is always amazed. It is a performance that is well thought out and executed flawlessly. Their desire apparently is to make certain the guests have a safe and memorable day. Without them it is only a boat. Shelley is one of my favorites but I assure you these beautiful people love their jobs and by hour two you will love each of them.I have done days on boats in Cozumel where nobody spoke English, the food was questionable,it was crowded, and the crew drank more beer than me and smoked dope on the bridge. This ain’t that kind of operation. You get what you pay for with Windseekers. Feel free to reach out to me and remember this is not a tour you are paying for but a day of memory making and fun with those you love, do it right and safely so it will be good memories! And make certain you bring extra cash because if you are like me, whatever decided before hand on a tip will not seem like enough...
Read moreOur group of 12—including five adults and seven kids (ages 2 to 11)—had an absolutely incredible experience with WindSeekers in Cozumel. We booked through Viator, and from start to finish, everything about this private boat excursion exceeded expectations.
Seamless Communication & Logistics
From the moment we booked, WindSeekers was incredibly responsive, answering all of my questions quickly through the Viator app. The morning of the excursion, Ernesto personally called me to confirm our arrival time and gave us detailed, foolproof instructions on how to get to the marina. It made the whole process effortless.
When we arrived, our crew—David, Hugo, Eric, and JJ—was already waiting for us. They helped with our bags, got us settled on the 39-foot catamaran (which was spotless and had plenty of space, including two bathrooms and day beds), and immediately made us feel at home.
Service That Stood Out
The crew was fantastic—genuinely warm, helpful, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. They even went above and beyond with the kids, especially our 2-year-old, who insisted on walking back and forth across the boat the entire time. They rolled with it, entertained him, and made sure he was safe, which we really appreciated.
Great Drinks & Next-Level Food
Hugo mixed fantastic cocktails and mocktails, using mid-to-top-shelf liquor and even wine—though our group didn’t drink much given the time of day and all the kids. The real highlight? The food.
Eric and David prepared an incredible spread, all freshly made on board: • Guacamole & pico de gallo • White fish ceviche (made from fish they caught earlier that day) • Grilled tuna with soy sauce and habanero salsa • A fresh salad • A mountain of quesadillas, chips, and crackers
Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious—one of the best meals we had on our trip.
El Cielo – The Perfect Spot
At El Cielo, the crew had rafts, floaties, and a paddleboard ready to go, making it easy for the kids to enjoy the water. JJ was amazing, helping us spot stingrays and making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.
Going the Extra Mile
Even after we got back to the marina, they had a taxi waiting that fit all 12 of us, and once again, helped with our bags—small details that made a big difference.
Final Thoughts
From the seamless planning to the incredible service, food, and overall experience, WindSeekers delivered one of the best excursions we’ve ever done. The next time we’re in Cozumel, we won’t even think twice—we’ll book with them again.

Read moreWe had a group of 20 guests, including toddlers and teenagers, for our December cruise to Cozumel. After reaching out to several charter companies, we chose Windseekers due to their excellent services and high safety standards. Since we have young children, we felt very safe having a PADI divemaster to guide us throughout our snorkeling experience. Opting for the 5-hour charter, we aimed to visit El Cielo (starfish and turtle reef) and were concerned about returning to the ship in time for our 5 pm dinner. Windseekers kindly accommodated us by pushing our departure time 1 hour earlier, allowing us to depart at 8:30 AM local time. Please make sure to go by local Cozumel time (this was also disclosed in the email from Windseekers, and we totally missed it). As soon as we realized it was 8:30 AM local time (ship time is 7:30 AM), we emailed Windseekers to let them know we were heading out. Their instant response provided us with reassurance. Luckily, it was only a short 5-minute taxi ride from the port to the marina. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a few crew members wearing the company's logo shirts. Our crew, Alejandra, Victor, Eric, and the captain, were all amazing.
Onboard, the crew prepared a delightful spread of food, including a fruit tray, vegetable tray, quesadillas, tuna steak, chips, guacamole, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They were attentive, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything or if the children required more drinks. Additionally, they provided snorkeling gear, towels, paddle board, and floating mats. Considering we had three young toddlers (ages 1-5) with us, having a catamaran that is fully equipped with 2 air-conditioned rooms and two bathrooms was a plus. We visited Cozumel many times and normally opt for a beach break. This private catamaran experience with Windseekers was a first for us, and we are already looking forward to booking...
