Loved Three Amigos at Puerto Maya on our CZM stop! We came off the Ruby Princess in April just before Easter weekend. It was an unusual arrival time late afternoon when most of the ships were heading back out. We had to skip our previous port that day because of weather and we were allowed to go on early and the ship docked and then stayed in Cozumel overnight. The crew at Three Amigos was ready for us anyway even though it was not what they had expected when they started that day. :). The music was on and the staff was all smiles. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! Very decent fresh chips and salsa. Great queso. Of course a couple of Margaritas and tequila shots were consumed. Later we split a big burrito. They have a great view for the sunset too. Super photo opportunities there. All the shops stayed open for us a couple of hours. I say, get off your ship, walk that long long walk to the first place you come to and get a margarita! Three Amigos! Ole’ I’d like to add that it’s situated just right if you are on a scooter or in a wheelchair, etc. you can find a place to get yourself a spot there. And there were two person carts powered by bike and rider available for a tip to minimize the walk from the ship and back to the ship. That was helpful after...
Read moreI didn’t get sick which was great because my friends who ate elsewhere did lol. I had the guacamole and chips and a margarita. It was very good and I love it is right on the water so we had a nice view. I was with carnival cruise ships and it is literally steps from the dock so super convenient if you want to come off the boat for a meal. The wait staff is nice, my waiter was actually really funny and made it a pleasant experience. For Mexico the prices are high but it is probably because of the location. You are basically paying for convience of being able to walk off the boat and be at the cruise port while dining. This was actually great for us because we lost track of time due to the margaritas and had to...
Read moreThe food wasn't that great and the prices were too expensive and inconsistent. The cost for each meal in Mexican Peso was $2 cheaper than USD. I wouldn't have known had I not mistakenly grabbed the Mexican menu. The server was trying to charge me $35 more than the actual bill...$158 when the bill was $123 so I grabbed a menu to do my own calculation and was surprised. I guess they assume folks don't know how to do the conversion. And to make sure i wasn't crazy, I did the calculation at all the other shops in the area and everyone was spot on with the displayed price...MEX$ to USD$. I will go back to Cozumel but will not visit...
