Centro Cultural El Refugio — Attraction in Jalisco

If you're visiting Tlaquepaque then you must go to the Centro Cultural El Refugio. If you can, try to get a tour that is set up by the local Chamber of Commerce. If you do this you'll understand this building and its history much better and you'll understand the area and its history much better. Maybe we missed something. This is a beautiful old building. Most of it is not currently in use. The only thing we saw on display was many rooms with ceramic nativity scene from past years' competitions. They were all very beautiful and interesting. Beautiful museum with a fascinating history. We had a tour to go to the top of the building and down to the tunnels and learnt so much from our friendly informative guide.
