This part of the beautiful boardwalk in Progreso is where most locals go. It’s a place that is EXCELLENT to bring the kids and family! It has playgrounds, sports complex, vendors, food, and public restrooms. It’s extremely peaceful and very safe. You can get cheap food and even a ice cold beer. It only gets busy at night when it cools off. Most food vendors stay open until midnight. It’s a nice place to fish at night and the beach is not crowded at all. I love the area so much that I decided to live here. You can different types of deserts that are salty and sweet. Also get some ice cream or a delicious Crepe. It’s excellent for waking and getting exercise. There are designated bike and handicap friendly. It has natural trees and trails that you can enjoy. Great place for photos at nighttime and unique sculptures. Excellent place to just sit and enjoy the beautiful beach and nature. Skateboard and rollerbladers have a excellent place to go.
