Súper Akí Progreso — Local services in Progreso

Great store in the middle of the town of Progreso. We rented a house on the beach, would walk into town and grab a cab on the way back. Super Aki has pretty much anything you need to get settled with groceries. Of you're fortunate enough to get to Costco in Mirada you can stick up if you're staying for an extended stay. You won't find everything you're use to but hey who cares you're on vacation. Polite staff and a clean store. Meats are pretty good we had the beef and poultry as well as some CD cuts...

Someone commented about being pointed to the almond butter near the registers and were so insulted..but the peanut butter is actually kept up at the registers area locked up because so many peopme were stealing it. So the clerk was actually being helpful. The clerks are always nice and have walked me to a section many times when i couldnt find something. They actually physically walk me there. While i buy my meat at Costco, for general things when I run out, they are convenient and on...

The store didn’t seem clean and didn’t smell nice. The personal didn’t know where the products are. One of them pointed me to the registers for “almond butter “ because he thought I was looking for nuts. Mexico still seems behind the curve in technology. Many places still don’t accept apple or google pay. This store does , however the cashier had to go dig out a terminal to process the payment.
