Parque Moderna — Attraction in Mexico City

At first I was pretty excited to have found this park and stayed going quite often with my children, however the last three time we went I was disappointed as the park was very dirty. The locals indicated it had to do with the cleaning company being in strike, but two visits later the park was still dirty, papers and bags flying into the bushes , the trash cans overflowing with plastic bottles, etc. Haven’t been there since then, so maybe it’s cleaner now. Still my children enjoy the playground very much and have been asking me to go there again soon. When we go, I’ll update if the situation with the garbage has improved. I give it three stars due to the playground...

Agradable sitio de reunión de las colonias Moderna, Viaducto piedad y Asturias. Bien cuidado y seguro. Han incorporado nuevos atractivos como área para perros y baños públicos -de paga-. Hay pista profesional para correr -ya muy deteriorada-, auditorio al aire libre, áreas de juegos para niños, áreas de ejercicio con aparatos, módulo de vigilancia, y numerosas áreas verdes y canchas deportivas. Este parque si demuestra el amor que los vecinos y el comité encargado demuestra por su comunidad. No como el acabado parque "el pipila" en dónde destrozaron las áreas de juegos para niños, y los aparatos para ejercicio se los llevaron a sus casas.
