Water Garden Museum — Attraction in Mexico City

Well... there isn't any water, and doesn't look like there's been water in years. It's okay to walk around, but mostly you're just left imaging how nice it would be if all of the water features had water. The big lake is okay to walk around (that has water at least), but honestly the lake in Chapultepec is larger and nicer, with more places to sit and enjoy it away from crowds.

I would avoid this park. Once upon a time it must've been pretty great. Now it just seems like a bit of a waste, when a larger, better park is just a little to the east. Maybe if/when they again add water to the "water garden" it'd be worthwhile place to...

My wife took me to this park where she had played as a child, it brought tears to her eyes to find that "fuente de tlaloc" no longer has water flowing around its serpent course. We spoke to several locals walking in the park who told us, water has not flown for years. With all the pleasure this beautifully park has, it just needs the water to flow to give lasting memories to generations of families who visit. With a new president, monies retained by those who misused government funds, water could flow again....

Es un lugar super tranquilo para ir a meditar un rato o pasar el tiempo paseando con familia y mascota canina, amplios espacios verdes para jugar y unos estanques de agua bajo las circunferencias que se divisan, en donde puedes subir a hacer un picnic o jugar un buen partido de fútbol soccer, americano o hasta un pequeño juego de béisbol por su amplia superficie, el museo que esta a un lado de un entronque al circuito principal del bosque (desviarse a la izquierda en el primer estacionamiento, si entras por la Av. Constituyentes, un poco antes de llegar al museo del papalote) no es nada espectacular, solamente cuenta con algunas fotografías que muestran la historia del área de bombas y de las magníficas circunferencias que mencioné, buen lugar para ir con la familia a divertirse, ubicado en la parte central de la 2da secc. del bosque de chapultepec, a unos 100 metros aprox. de ahí encontraras el museo del papalote, el área de lanchas y lo que era la feria de chapultepec, y bueno también el restaurante el lago y un restaurante anexo que tiene costes un poco más bajos pero similares a...
