Altozano Park — Attraction in Michoacán

The Altozano mall is a great place to take the family, friends or to plan a date. Since is a outside mall its perfect to visit during this COVID 19 crisis and the mall staff are taking high precautions to prevent spreading of the virus. Before entering into each store they take your temperature and provide you with antibacterial gel. They are very strict about it and you have to have a face mask on at all times. Because of this the mall has become more active on the weekends and you there will be a good amount of people walking about and enjoying the open air environment. There is a food court even though the selection is limited. The mall is 3 levels so there are elevators if needed.

The staff are quite helpful throughout the mall, so you if you something just ask :) There are many activities for kids like a trampoline room, bowling and of course the movies.

You have to pay to park at the mall so do not lose your parking ticket or they will charge you and it will take a while to get your car out of the parking lot. I will provide for you a little secret :) there are a few free parking spaces on the backside of the mall near the apartment building on the side of the street if you do not mind walking a little bit.

There is also a beautiful and relaxful green area that you are welcome to use at the back of the mall near the casino. When other parks maybe be closed because of COVID this park as remained open because very little people use it. There are no games there but a lot of space with a beautiful view looking over Morelia.

Over all the mall is quite nice, but the temperature in Altozano is always a little bit cooler so make sure you dress for being outside.

El Centro Comercial Altozano es una plaza donde podremos encontrar una gran variedad de restaurantes de todo tipo (desde algunos conocidos como de cadena, otros de franquicias y otros de cocina más especializada). Son en su mayoría de muy buen nivel. Encuentra un sinfín de tiendas de ropa y artículos de todo tipo para cuestión personal (belleza, gimnasios, educativos,). Hay varias sucursales bancarias. Tiendas muy grandes como Bestbuy; H & M; Liverpool ;Sears. La plaza tiene un mirador a la Ciudad único por su ubicación ;las panorámicas que se pueden tomar desde ahí son de Concurso. Bonito centro comercial de Morelia, en tiempo de lluvias poco funcional pues es semi abierto y en tiempo de frió igualmente mismo motivo. El estacionamiento es caro y evita ir a la gente pues te encarece lo que vayas a realizar en bancos o pagos en tiendas departamentales ,poca seguridad, escaleras automáticas descompuestas, han robado autos, motocicletas, placas y los guardias y cámaras no sirven de nada, no se por que cobran el estacionamiento.
