Ocean Beach Cozumel — Attraction in Quintana Roo

Definitely NOT a scan per se. That sentiment is expressed on various record by those unacquainted work the Mexican tourist business model.

Their facility isn't nice enough to attract mainstream customers through ordinary means. So, they rely heavily on referrals from taxi companies and drivers. It is likely they get the majority of your basic entrance.

Anyway, it is a sandy beach work hard plastic lounges, new umbrellas, some natural shade, an attentive wait staff, working bathrooms, a functional pool and jacuzzi, reasonably-volumed music and a full restaurant.

Fun drinks are $13 (15 in "yard" glass) and beers $4 (less in buckets). Nachos $10 plus $3 for protein. Generous portion and includes guacamole. Other menu prices fair.

There are shops and beach vendors bit they were docile.

If other rescues were fairer, I would do 3 stars. But, for a 2-star facility,...

TOTAL SCAM!.….. I went there, because the recommendation of a taxi driver. They charged me USD$20.00 for "access to the beach", sunshades, chairs, internet, lockers, and access to the restrooms. Long story short, they never give me anything of what was offered; I discovered that there is NO entrance fee to the beach; and on top of everything, the beach was really awful, full of stones to step on ... I totally hated this place!, Absolutely disappointing!,...

Ésta es una advertencia para los pasajeros de crucero que llegan a Cozumel, algunos taxistas les dirán que para entrar a las playas hay que pagar, algunas USD 75, otras 65, otras 20, escogimos esa por el precio, señores, fuimos OCEAN BEACH, dijeron que la entrada daba derecho a quitasol, reposera, baños, primero LA ENTRADA A LA PLAYA ES GRATIS, nunca nos dieron ningún servicio, te ponen una pulserita color naranja en la muñeca, después que pagas los USD 20, para reirse de todos los engañados, no bajen en Cozumel, en cambio, en PROGRESO de YUCATAN, tienen un excelente servicio, buses gratis al terminal, donde pueden escoger tours, nosotros fuimos a las ruinas, impresionantes, gente muy amable en todos los servicios, felicitaciones a la gente de...
