First of all this parking lot is in the business of providing customer service to customers/tourists such as myself. I lost my parking ticket and ran quickly to get another one. This was all within 15 minutes after arrival. As soon as I try to get another ticket this aggressive unprofessional worker who's name is Juan Cruz (pictured) confronted me asking me what I was doing and that I needed to pay 180 pesos for having lost my ticket. There was no signage or description at all about this price at the entrance. For all I could know he could have made this price up/lied to me. I tried to explain myself that I had arrived recently and wanted to speak to the security guard who was the one who I had come into contact since I needed help with getting the ticket when I first came in. Anyways Juan Cruz kept telling me to pay 180 pesos which I said no and I wanted to speak to the security guard to explain myself since Juan was not listening to me. That is when he threatened me with calling the police. I replied letting him know I was not committing any crime and all I wanted to do was to explain myself which Juan did not let me since he made the situation A LOT WORSE! He raised his voice at me and got into my face trying to be all macho man saying he is the administrator. I even remember him raising his eyes when he got into my face. He was not practicing any social distancing at all by doing this endangering my wellbeing and his as well! Again this maniac made the situation so much worse by confronting me like this! You don't treat people like that Juan Cruz especially when I was speaking calm and staying collected the entire time! You are so much older than me. Act like an adult!
The situation was resolved thankfully when I asked to speak to Oscar I. Navarrete C. the general manager of the parking lot. I was able to explain my story and he let me know that what I did was wrong in having tried to get another ticket on foot. However I never tried to cheat or steal from this business or anyone. All I wanted to do was to quickly grab another ticket and let the security guard know about it since again I had lost my ticket very recently like within 15-20 minutes after arrival! I ended up paying only for the amount of time my car was parked. I hope disciplinary action was taken upon Juan Cruz because for something like this you don't deserve to be treated the way I was treated by this...
Read moreI do not agree with the whole place at all. First of all this is supposed to be a national park and the entrance fee should be in order to protect nature. But which national park would ever allow ANIMAL ABUSE ? Monkeys and parrots on leashes and fat tourists paying to pet and take pictures. The whole “protected” area is filled up with hotels and bars. And parking was like 300 pesos which is crazy. Do not park around Kai hotel tulum. They try to rip you off with 1 hour snorkeling for 350 per person but at the beach...
Read moreBeautiful Ruins But so over crowded and the shuttle that takes you there is $10 for a .5 mile ride . There are so many people . There are way older and better kept ruins south of here and the parking terminal was a hustle because we did not know we needed to prepay... neither did anyone else so the line was a ton of people having to back up and turn around. I saw many people with strollers and would not suggest it because of the uneven...
