Randomly found this on AirBnB and was not disappointed! The tower uses the same parking lot as the Tulum ruins and is situated behind the Mystical Museum. After you check in you can buy some cocktails for your ride up. Be sure to verify your identity on AirBnB if you're the one booking it. This is required for safety reasons and we experienced a slight delay because our person was not verified. Luckily, we were the only ones booked for this time slot. Because of COVID they have a current max occupancy of 10 people for each time.

Cocktails were a little pricey for the area but very good! Jaime was our bartender. He was generous with that pour. Once we were verified and got our drinks we were strapped in by Candy and taken up. Since we were the only ones there we were able to get suggestions from Candy on things to do in the area. You're up there for about 30 minutes and while you're slowly rotating in the air you can see the beach and the Tulum ruins in the background. The ride operator takes photos of you while you're in the air and the photos are sent to you via email after your descent. The photos are included in the booking price.

This is not your typical Mexican excursion but I still had a ton of fun just relaxing in the air and taking in the scenery with my yummy drink....

Over charged me. I was late to the 5 pm because I was harassed by salesmen who claimed to show me the way there but ended up begging for a kiss in exchange for clothes so that held me up and I missed it by seconds. He told me to just do the 6 pm and pay the difference of 25 more. I said ok I’ll be back. I come back and two more girls are there now and in the midst of getting everything together he says the kitchen is closed that it closes at 5:30 which he failed to mention when he told me pay more and do the 6. I went off. I couldn’t get a refund for what I had already paid for so I paid the upcharge however I gave him 500 pesos towards my drink that was 385 and I only owed 25 more in usd for the tower so after 500 pesos I should owe only 20-21. My card was charged 58 bucks. So 50 twice for something I didn’t even get food for. Like no ! Def not worth it. The tower isn’t even sturdy it started to rain and the lady was scared after we started rocking and brought us down. Beautiful view I tried to make the best of it but it was too frustrating and not worth...

We took the local bus (collectiveo), which are inexpensive and reliable. Outside the attraction, there are stalls selling tickets and tours of the site, we didn't use these and decided to go straight to the attraction. Which was a couple of unfred yards from the road entrance. Crossed the carpark to find a large building. Market type stalles, people in traditional dress and men with monkeys for you to have your photo taken with? Walk through this area, and you will come to the roadway, which will take you the ruins. There are ticket machines there, or you can queue at the kiosks to pay. Your ticket has a QR code that you could scan to get in. You can also scan it with your phone for a guide to the ruins. There is quite a lot to see, with views over the ocean, worth a visit in my opinion. It's not the best if you have walking difficulties, but there are ramps for...

The initial check in process was extremely frustrating and unorganized. We waited for 20 minutes while the bartender helped a group of seven before we could flag down a woman to tell us what to do. She seemed to not know the process and after 30 minutes of back and forth finally told us to write our name and email address on a clip board and sign the back of tickets. And then declared us "checked in". No further explanation or instructions were given. We began to ask about ordering food and drink and she told us that it was "to late" to order food as the deadline for placing orders had past 20 minutes ago. Since we had arrived 45 minutes early we were extremely frustrated. Candy ended up saving the day. She got our food ordered and ensured that we ended up having a great time. We absolutely loved our experience in the air with Candy, she made the experience worth the price!
