It's a great place to go and stay for a while if you have the money and like the surf experience. It's a cousy little town with a lot of nice restaurants, souvenirs store and bars. If you like surfing, just need to check out the time of the year to get the best experience,. If you are just starting to be a surfer, then, this time of the year (summer) is the best for you. As soon as you get to the beach, there are people to ask you if you want a umbrella and seats to spend the time over the beach. Be sure to get a nice place with a good stuff; there are people offering you something like a big deal, but when you already say "yes" they give you a really old stuff to espend the time with the higher price for everything. If you don't have to much money, then, try to get along with your own stuff, food, beverages and chips and be ready to have a...

San pancho, a small turistic village at about 1 hour from Puerto vallarta. The place is amazing immerse in the jungle , no many turist, so u can get an amazing experience with the local people, everyone so nice and the beach is amazing! Is a large free beach where u can also camping, there are signs who says u can't but I saw many tent. The waves are big perfect for surfing, u can also swim even if is a bit dangerous becouse as soon u walk inside the water u can't touch the floor anymore, I have been there a week and only one day the waves were to big to Bath... There is enough space to Have privacy and be topless One of the best and truest experiences I...

One of the most magical beaches I've ever spent time on. Playa San Pancho is a very special hidden gem. The beach runs for miles in both directions. Only a couple restaurants on the beach which are located at the main entrance to the beach.

This beach is off the beaten track and is a hidden gem. You'll find a few surfers here. The breaks can be pretty serious at times.

You can rent surf boards, boogie boards and most of the water sport rentals that are not motorized.

One of my favourites is the lady selling empanadas.

The sunsets I've seen here are the most spectacular sunsets I've ever witnessed in my life.

If you dont believe me go check it out...

Unlike sayulita's main beach you can see the sunset here. Even if not for the sunset, the beach (and village) is definitely worth a trip as it is such a beautiful stretch of sand with good food and drinks options , much cleaner than sayulita, bit more waves when you get in, it's steep but easy . Really a shame they started building directly on the beach, you can see how the days of this great place may be counted, hopefully they'll see the value in keeping the place what it is rather than spoiling it with greed. One can hope.
