A surprisingly large and interesting museum. It has lots of art from many different artists and although when you enter it appears quite unimpressive it will lead you through it's maze-like halls and lead you on an adventure. The cost is even surprisingly affordable. Upon entering I thought I might spend half an hour looking at the displayed paintings and sculptures but only left nearly two hours later. It is absolutely worth a visit both to the knowledgeable art connoisseur but also, like myself, someone who does not know much about it but simply enjoys looking at art. The only negative thing I experienced was that especially toward the end it became slightly difficult to navigate. Read moreEn este museo puedes encontrar la vida y obra de Manuel Felguérez que consta de pinturas, es culturas y obra gráfica, en un edificio del año de 1888, que fue el Seminario Conciliar y Tridentino de la Purísima y al igual que el Museo Pedro Coronel, este también fue cárcel de las cual aun se dejo algunas paredes a manera de representación.
Manuel Felguérez nace en Zacatecas estudio en distintas escuelas y academias tanto mexicanas como europeas, ganó diversos reconocimientos a nivel mundial y sus obras se exhiben de manera permanente en mas de 11 países en distintos continentes.
Mi parte favorita de este museo es donde están los murales que fueron exhibidos en el pabellón mexicano en la Expo de Osaka en Japón en 1970, en estos murales participaron distintos pintores entre los cuales estaba Felguérez y los murales simplemente son monumentales y te hacen sentir inmenso pero a la vez insignificante ante su gran tamaño.
