We made our reservation for this hotel the same day we were arriving, through Hotels.com. We get there and the lady at the front desk can't locate it since these types of reservations are handled through the Sales team and it's Sunday, they are not on site. So here it begins and hour long ordeal of her trying to locate someone in Sales to give her the password to access the online reservations. She calls several people and finally someone gives her the password. After that, she tells us only 1 of the 3 rooms we booked is ready, mind you this is already 4pm. But we wanted to be on our way to start exploring the city so we dropped everything into the one room and left.||||Now for the room it self, it was clean, comfortable, had a small but adequate bathroom. The only thing was that there was no air conditioner, we called to get a fan, but there were none left. Zacatecas is usually a cool town, but this was a hot and humid day, a/c might not be a big deal for some people, but it was for me. We had to open a couple of very small windows to get some air flowing, but that also meant noise.||||Overall, for the price was it was ok, it was just a night, but having to sort out all these little details did take away from the limited time we had for our visit. Other than that everyone was really pleasant and...
Read moreDecided to visit Zacatecas as a last minute trip,So we went without reservations. We decided to stay somewhere close to el centro where we could find vacancy. The first thing i noticed was that the parking was very tight as we were in a Silverado and struggled to get into the structure, I saw two vans try to get in and they weren't able to...but hey atleast the parking was free. The hotel itself seemed to be outdated and in desperate need of a remodel but clean...the lobby decor looked old and the restaurant was not inviting. There is a elevator to get to your room which is good.... But once we got to our floor the halls were very very dark, and gloomy...almost made me turn around. The room was very basic and reminiscing of a motel 6 ...the bathroom was clean but the toilet seat would not stay up...there was no iron in the room and just one hanger in the closet. The good was that it was very quite at night and with in a close proximity to the cathedral. I would recommend this place maybe to someone with a low budget or someone just looking for somewhere to stay for the night that's decent and in the heart...
