I really liked the ancient village of Bab Oudayas. It is within the walled medina and people still live in the houses. The doors to the houses are very interesting. It's A historic district of Rabat has been beautifully restored. In front of the outer door, there are superb staircases and a green space which enhance its charm. Very nice huge door, leading into the town area, where real people still live. Tourists everywhere, of course. Not a WC to be found anywhere, except in cafes. Easy to spot on your walk around the kasbah.
