If you need to do a transfer you will 100% lose the train because its crazy busy and the stops are separate buildings, besides that you need to go out scan your card and then go back inside (which takes about 10 to 15 minutes because of the crowds) but even if its not busy it still takes about 4 minutes (without ruining) to get inside of the next platform so if you have kids, disabilities or even can’t physically run you will miss your train (or like me who runs and still misses every train because of the lack of open scans (only two per side) and even if you are 2 seconds late the ns employee inside will stop you from entering (even when you are right in-front of him) because NS doesn’t allow a 3 seconds delay. A kiosk is present where you can buy eatable and some other stuff. Whereas the nearest city center is perhaps 10 mins walk away so you have a lot of other options available there... Different building for different connections is a bit confusing though...All in all a medium...
Read moreThe station offers good connections for trains towards Hilversum, Utrecht and Amsterdam as well as interchange between the local bus and tram at street level. It can be a nice station to watch trains heading into the sidings but the atmosphere can be unpleasant in the evening and night.
