Een sluis blijft toch iets aparts. Zeker die in Leidschendam waar het lijkt of er een heel centrum omheen is gebouwd. De ophaalbruggen, de twee kerken, het sluiswachtershuis en verderop de molen geven een heel mooi plaatje. En dan heb ik het nog geeneens over de pleziervaart op een mooie dag. Ook vind ik de terrassen rond de sluis uniek. Door de grote variatie aan bootjes, sloepjes en jachten is er eigenlijk altijd wat te zien.

Hier kan je fijn een overheerlijk ijsje halen. De vele boten aanschouwen die hier aanmeren om van de locale horeca te genieten. Mooie locatie waar je makkelijk langs het water kan wandelen. Heerlijke natuur ... een molen ... ga er eens kijken en laat je mening hier achter

Een sluis blijft toch iets aparts. Zeker die in Leidschendam waar het lijkt of er een heel centrum omheen is gebouwd. One of the most scenic spots in Leidschendam. There are two drawbridges, but one of them is only used as a pedestrian/bicycle overpass. On busy days, when the lock is used frequently that can cause passing the lock in a car a bit annoying.
