Not 100% sure if this guy but think so - his winning point was rental boats from 730pm when everyone else was closed!

I’d rung another place to be told their last rental was from 7pm and he’d only allow 30-45 minutes for E20 - that felt like a rip-off.

So- assuming we were too late we went for a stroll and were walking past when we heard this guy explaining how to control the boat- what!? We can rent?! Sure- E15 for one round- what’s that? A loop of the canals and bigger lake - and you can take your time.

Tip - to avoid sunburn- taking a sunset cruise is just magical- stop the boat and float as you wish to take glorious sunset reflections on the water- a peak beautiful experience indeed.

We only motored back when it got cold and dark- took one wrong left turn in the dark and felt it bog- luckily the reverse motor worked its way out.

[Second Day] Thought of a 2 hour group cruise but they didn’t start till 11am - we walked further and saw red & white striped t-shirt guy- asked him about 2 hours boat rental - he said sure- E25 - suggested a suitable nature & village route- we did - just magic- recommended!

Oh- how to find him - look at the building numbers as you walk along-...

The owner was amazing and the boat ride lovely, everything was perfect, I really wouldn’t put just two stars if it wasn’t for the boy who worked there, he was really rude, we were late due to a boat in front of us that stopped taking pictures all the time and instead of telling us that he understood he just told me that it wasn’t his problem and that we should know how to go forward when we have never drove a boat before, there was no respect for the client, I felt really...

Nice boats and people. I recommend hiring for two hours enabling you to cross the large lake to the East of the village and then cruise the canal paths through the reed marshes to the East of the lake, you’ll be given a map, but google maps satellite view helped us greatly. The central village canals are very congested midday, so an early or late hire may suit best, and some hirers can steer well but expect some small bumps from...
