Super onaardig personeel, unbelievable bad educated and rude. I was yesterday and we decided to get an ice cream with my daughter of 5. Since I got into the store too fast I did not realize I was without face mask, and plus I did not notice there was an entrance and exit side (due corona restrictions), and this was only marked in the floor. I was at the entrance closer to the outside, looking at the ice cream flavors to tell my daughter, and suddenly the lady inside started to scream at me and said that I should get out. Read moreIf you’re in Giethoorn and craving something sweet, Venice Giethoorn is an absolute must-visit. This cozy little café not only serves the creamiest ice cream topped with clouds of fresh whipped cream but also offers the most delicious stroopwafels that are a true Dutch delight. The vanilla ice cream was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. And that fresh stroopwafel? Warm, gooey in the center, and bursting with caramel flavor—an ideal treat while strolling or boating through the charming water lanes of the village.
The ambiance is idyllic, with outdoor seating that overlooks the canals and traditional Dutch houses. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny afternoon snack while soaking in the fairy-tale vibe of Giethoorn. Friendly service, mouthwatering treats, and a view that makes you want to stay forever—Venice Giethoorn really hits...

The WORST customer in the world— they do not even make eye contact with you as you enter! This place seemed cute and inviting until you enter it. The service the two women ( one I assumed was the owner ) because she proceeded to come shoo me away from the outdoor sitting area , little did she know I was waiting for someone that never got to order , since one ( in the boutique) was on the phone the entire time and the other just completely ignore the 4-5 customers for the I cream and coffee area, that stood around for 5-10 mins. Me and the other 3 tourists had to walk out , as it became obvious they had no desire...
