Fotomuseum Den Haag — Attraction in The Hague

The foto museum in Den Haag is a small museum that includes a cafe. The foto’s displayed were nice to look at and the poetry and descriptions were interesting. A few of the art galleries were closed so we zipped through it very fast. The upstairs room showed some paintings but there was no explanation of why there were paintings in a foto museum or info on the artist. Although a small museum, it is very well organized and clean. It is not allowed to get inside with bags, but they offer lockers for free. There is also a small library with nice books about fotography. I have been to see Ordinary People by Rob Hornstra. There were other expositions among that too. Museum is 15 minutes from the Den Haag central station by tram. There are also plenty of parking lots...

The exhibits for the muséum are usually rétrospectives of photographers who have included the Dutch society in their work. There is one main exhibition space and two smaller areas.
