I recently dined at Walong Chinese Restaurantin Den Haag,Netherland and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a fantastic meal. The Owner and staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. The menu offered a wide variety of Chinese dishes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the food. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites like Dimsum or looking for more adventurous options, there's something for everyone. One thing that truly stood out was the attention to detail in presentation. Each dish was beautifully plated, adding to the overall dining experience. The portion sizes were generous, making it excellent value for the price. Walong also has an extensive drink menu, including a great selection of teas that perfectly complement the meal. The dessert menu is a must-try, with delectable options that round off the dining experience on a sweet note. Lastly, Walong exceeded my expectations in every way. From the impeccable service to the mouthwatering food, it's a place I'll be returning to often. If you're looking for a top-notch Chinese dining experience, I highly recommend Walong Chinese Restaurant in Den Haag, Netherland. Cheers :)

Had the vegetarian dumpling with peanuts mushroom and sweet corn, the vegetarian ravioli and the crispy chicken with chilli garlic and onion. The dumpling and dim sums were not that great, two reasons is one they were not fresh and taken out from the freezer and steamed, secondly all the vegetables were mashed in the filling. Ideally a good dim sum has small pieces of the vegetables. The crispy chicken was good, it was a dry preparation served with rice. The same can be seen in the photos. The jasmine tea served in a pot is only for one, but surely can be had by two for which I think they should serve two cups especially when the waiter knows that one is ordering a decent amount of food. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes but then the waiter could have advised us on something else.

This restaurant has been around for decades at least. As a child used to come here to eat Indonesian and Chinese dishes with a Dutch twist, such as Nasi Ramas and Chinese tomato soup (which is a sweet soup in the Netherlands). Last week during a short visit to The Hague went back to Walong after 20 years or so (as am no longer living in Europe), and was delighted to find that they still serve these traditional dishes! With the passing on of an older generation, there are fewer restaurants serving these dishes. Glad that Walong still does them, and of very high quality! The staff are great too, helpful and very friendly. Unreservedly recommended!

If you want to get the best authentic Chinese food in Den Haag, then you will find it in Walong. The ambience and food complement each other in giving me the best experience. I like the originality and creative menu that the restaurant offers dishes from sweet sour delights to soya sauce elegance.

I was on holiday in the Netherlands many years ago when I first found it but now it boasts a new interior with the staff still showing the same friendliness I remember. The food continues to be divine and as such, decided to have all my dinners in Walong over the past 4 days since last Friday.

My only regret is not being able to try their Christmas menu which sounds delicious and value for money, specially prepared for Christmas and Boxing Day...

Thumbs up to whole team...
