I recently had the pleasure of attending an event at the Congress Center of the Netherlands, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. Located in the heart of the country, this facility offers world-class services and a truly exceptional atmosphere for any kind of conference, meeting, or event.

We zijn naar Bouke geweest. De Elvis tribute van dit moment. Was een goede show. Het geluid was normaal in volume. Dwz binnen de wettelijke kaders, maar wel hard genoeg voor de slechthorende onder ons. En voor degene met oordoppen👍 in. Deze over-hoeveelheid van volume brengt echt niet meer beleving in de muziek. Maar de show is niet hier het onderwerp. Maar dit is wel de reden om hier te zijn. Je kiest geen theater, je kiest de show. De zaal is zeer geschikt voor optredens. Goed toegankelijk en de stoelen zitten goed voor een lange zit. Ze zijn niet overmatig breed, een redelijk gebouwde vent past hier nog wel in. Ik schat in dat je overal goed zicht heb op het toneel, tenzij een breed geschouderd persoon voor je zit, niet alle rijen zitten hoger dan de vorige rij. Dat zit in het ontwerp, en is dus niet makkelijk te verbeteren. Laten we later positief afsluiten, dat is altijd wel zo prettig. Wij waren hier voor de eerste keer, en zo waren er meer bezoekers zoekende. Om het beeld van een eerste bezoek te schetsen, voordat je de zaal betreedt ben je 4 ruimtes doorkruist. De laatste 3 hallen zijn functioneel, groot, minimalistisch in aankleding en onoverzichtelijk. Hal 1 is leeg, via de kaartjes controle ga je naar hal 2. Hier kan je drinken halen, en zelfs wat eten. Rechts is (ook) dit keer, ingericht als garderobe. Doordat het is opgebouwd uit verrijdbare elementen oogt het toegankelijk voor iedereen, maar dat is duidelijk niet de bedoeling. Het personeel helpt u graag uw jas deze avond te bewaren. Staande ergens in hal 2 zie ik geheel toevallig via de doorgang een scherm met verschillende afbeeldingen, waaronder een met de tekst 'uitrijkaarten'. Dat is nu handig. Terwijl mijn vrouw met onbekende verder praat sta ik in de rij voor de servicebalie. De rij loopt van balie tot muur en wordt regelmatig doorkruist door verkeer van links en rechts. Ondertussen weet mijn vrouw veel meer van de onbekende mensen. Hal 3 heeft dus een servicebalie, daarachter bevindt zich een 'monumentale trap '. Groot dus. Ergens in een hoek is de lift, te gebruiken door een ieder waarvoor de trap een hindernis is. Hal 4 is leeg, maar geeft toegang tot de zaal. De ingangen zijn verdeelt over begane grond tot 2de verdieping. Er hangen borden voor de richting die vele namen vermelden. Maar niets wordt in de vlugheid herkend. De vermelding '1+↗️', zegt u dit iets? Pause. Een ieder beweegt zich naar een drankje. En ik weet het , pausedrankjes is geld verdienen. Dus eerst wordt de bestelling opgenomen in de kassa, daarna verzameld en daarna 'uitgeserveerd'. Terwijl ik in de rij staat, praat mijn vrouw met onbekenden. De rij schuift naar voren en mensen schuiven hun tafeltje van deze rij af voor meer privacy. De drankjes zijn gescoord, nu nog mijn vrouw terug vinden. De pause-gong gaat wanneer ik weer bij haar aanschuift en zij het gesprek afrond. Er staat nog steeds een rij voor de balie. Voor ons loopt een jong stel de zaal binnen met gevulde wijnglazen. Er wordt vriendelijk verzocht dit in hal 4 te nuttigen. En in hal 4 staan zij, al genietend, hun horeca-wijn weg te klokken. De avond is mij zeker niet slecht bevallen. Alleen wat de Engelsen zo mooi 'crowd control' noemen, oftewel publieks bewegingen beheersen, valt mij tegen. Rijen mensen ontstaan daar waar je ze niet wilt hebben, en kunnen niet tijdig worden weggewerkt. De volgende keer is de tweede keer. De route is bekend, de uitrijkaart kan wachten tot er geen rij staat en het pausedrankje maar zelf meenemen. Ik zou positief eindigen en dat kan. Het uitrijden gaat heel soepeltjes onder regie van verkeersregelaars. En waarom met de auto komen als het openbaar zo goed is? Die is goed tot 23 uur. En we zijn al vaker gestrand ver van huis. En dan hebben we over thuis met goede...

Overall not exactly a bad experience, but we expected a little bit more from a 4 star hotel. The cleanliness could be a little more looked at. Bathroom drains cleaned occasionally, since we brushed teeth and had to wait for around 7 minut for the sink to be empty from water again. Same with shower. Stains on the carpet and extra blankets in the closet. Also the door closing was horribly loud like someone would intentionally slam them(not the case). Breakfast was nice, just a bit harder to find a spot if you woke up bit later. Breakfast to the room was perfekt. Also the staff was 50/50.some were nice, some just didn't care at all, just ignored you ald laughed in the staff room. Would I come back? If I had no other choice where to go with dog, then yes....
