Bunker Museum IJmuiden — Attraction in Velsen

Next to the museum there is bunker route, which is free for everyone to walk. And there are like 5 bunkers where yiu actually get to go inside which is fantastic! You get to explore them by yourself. A nice place to stroll about, you can go into some ( If you are careful) beware some people have broken bottles about these bunkers, which is a shame, also suffers from graffiti , to the left a little way off is the German e boat bunker, which is used by a chemical company (I think) which looks complete and would be a great place to see, the bunkers are nubered and have a qr code tag to them, it's free to see and some of the locals...

Really interesting place to visit. Staff is amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful :) Inside the bunkers there are detailed exhibitions of how it looked like when in use. Some of the bunkers are accessible all the time, without paying, but those are really just empty shells. The most interesting ones are open only on Sundays which is shame.
