Ladies Bay Beach — Attraction in Ōrākei

"Hidden Gem with Zero Naked Surprises"

I visited Ladies Bay Beach today and contrary to recent posts, the track is not closed it’s fully open and walkable. The trail down is narrow with stairs, but the ocean view? Worth every step. The beach itself is super quiet I only saw two disappointed fishermen who caught nothing and left early (probably cursed by the fish gods).

Very limited parking, maybe fits 4-5 cars, so come early or prepare to walk. No toilets here if nature calls, your best bet is Mission Bay Beach down the road. Crystal clear water, clean sand, peaceful vibes. And in case you're wondering no nudists spotted during my visit. Just good old fashioned calm. Overall Great little escape if you're not afraid of a short trek and minimal facilities.

Please do not bring your kids down to the beach. The beach is not suitable for any person under the age of 18. Also if you are a female, be aware that there are “creeps” who want to spy on nude female swimmers. Usually they pretend to be a fisherman or someone who just wants to take a stroll along the beach.
