My favorite Chinese Takeaway bar none.Even though I didn't reside in the area I would travel all the way from Pakuranga to get my favorite Chinese meal.Unfortunately,now that I have moved further afield it's not viable anymore. However, on this occasion a friend whom I was visiting and who lives in close proximity (and to whom I had introduced this place to him) wanted some stir fried vegetables so I took him there.Their stir fried vegetables with either rice/noodles are always cooked to perfection and ample (even now being so expensive). The sliced meats are also very tender and tasty. Tony, the proprietor has been there for years and together with his crew are always pleasant and welcoming when I visit (albeit not as frequent as before)...I certainly...

Probably one of the more over priced takeaway shops I have been to. $11 for a piece of snapper, and if I recall correctly, $8 for a piece of plain as hoki.

Decided on a cheese burger, hot dog and 2 potato fritters. Lets start with the good things. The potato fritters were good, and crispy like I like them, not thick with potato, but this is what I like.

The cheese burger, well it tasted ok, bun was ok, everything was ok, except the meat patty, was just a processed rubbery piece of rubbish. and the price. I was never expecting 5 star gourmet for the price, but even a piece of lettuce would have made this look better.

Familiar with traditional Cantonese cuisine being Chinese born in NZ myself wanted to buy some comfort food for dinner. Purchased chicken Chow Mein came in a generous serving of veges mostly brocoli (calfiflower, onion and some mushrooms. Chicken was marinated but no flavour on the veges or in the sauce. Not enough sauce to cover the noodles to make them soft. Can't say much about the rest of thr menu but chow Mein is a bread and butter dish in Chinese cusine and if you looking for that Chinese flavour hit I don't...
