Orakei Playground — Attraction in Ōrākei

Think this is also called Okahu Bay Playground. Great place for all day outings or picnics. Nice heritage structures and unique play sets.

Good - few shade really comes in handy in hot sunny days. Big awnings on the waka inspired flying fox and slides. Small baby area good for smaller kids. Comes with toilet and picnic tables. Free parking around the reserve. Soft mat fall protection! Very close to okahu bay beach.

Bad - the variety of toys isn’t great. Not many shops to get food from.
