Rutherford Reserve — Attraction in Ōrākei

Beautiful park for all ages and abilities. Parking on the road. Huge playground for the kids to explore as well as a flying fox at the top of the hill. Children are able to safely ride a scooter or bike along the concrete path of course sharing with other pedestrians. There is plenty of space to kick around a ball or throw a frisbee. Enjoy a picnic. This is amazing Novety park for our children 🚸 catch up with neighbouring families. Great for joggers. Good playground that was just updated a year or so ago. Flying Fox is awesome and unusual for a neighborhood park. No drinking fountain, so bring your own bottle of water, and no toilets, so mostly of use to people who live handy or are only stopping for a short time.
