I've never left a negative review in my life. Unfortunately I have to share my experience tonight so they can hopefully improve. I ordered the fettuccine con pollo for takeaway. I drove home after picking it up, had a few bites and had to drive all the way back and get them to remake it. Ive been having the same chicken mushroom fettuccine from over a dozen restaurants around auckland regularly for over 3 years. Its my favourite meal hands down and ive definitely grown to learn whats good.

This one had no garlic, tasted as if it was just flower mixed with water, stewed chicken and stewed mushrooms, No cheese and no herbs and spices. It also sat funny my stomach. They had great service there and promptly remade it, unfortunately when I got home and tried the second one, It was very much the same, I sure have a big appetite, but I couldn't even force myself to eat more than 1/3 of it. Feeling rather sick after eating that 1/3 of the second one too. Crossing my fingers the feeling of being sick goes away and doesnt progress.

I was very polite when I came and asked them to remake it, and their service was great but sorry guys, I hope when reading this review you can take the necessary steps with your chefs...

OMG! How did we not find out about this place sooner?!!! It's so close to home and plenty of free parking available nearby.

This is a local hidden gem and such a great restaurant for genuine Italian food.

The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and was absolutely spotless!

Staff were very welcoming, and they went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our dining experience.

We have never had better garlic pizza bread, as it just melted in your mouth.

We both had a prawn cocktail for our entree, which was so packed full of prawns and scrumptious.

I was beginning to get a bit full after all this, but I got halfway through an entree size calamari that was also tender and delicious.

This is now going to be our new favourite place and if I don't overdo the garlic bread again, perhaps I will even get to try the...

I liked the variety and quantity of seasonal vegetables as a side. The vegetables were excellent. However, for the main i ordered was the lasagna and i would not recommend it. It was horrible. It was mainly cheese and sauce with a bit of pasta. I looked to find the mince but could hardly see any or taste any yet it was described as having mince in it. The lasagna was rather like tomato cheese soup than like an actual traditional lasagna. I would have made a complaint but i was with my parents and i didn't want to cause any drama.
