Epic Adventure with Big Rock Canyoning – A Must-Do Experience!

Wow, what an absolutely incredible experience with Big Rock Adventure Canyoning! From start to finish, this was hands down one of the best adventure activities I’ve ever done.

The team is not only highly trained and professional but also incredibly fun, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what they do. Safety is a top priority, with top-quality gear and expert guidance throughout. The whole experience is so well thought out, ensuring you get maximum adventure, adrenaline, and thrills—without needing any prior canyoning experience. As long as you're up for some scrambling, wading, and a bit of climbing, you're in for an unforgettable time!

Our guide, Koryn, was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, confident, and making the most of every jump, slide, and abseil. His encouragement made all the difference, and we felt like we were pushing our limits in the best way possible.

Laura and I had the time of our lives, and I truly believe this is something everyone should try at least once. But let’s be honest—I’ll definitely be back for more! Wish I could give the experience 6 stars. Doing the Kaumira Canyon with Koryn was an absolutely incredible experience. I work as an outdoor adventure provider myself and found the trip incredibly well designed, well paced, and all captured in a video you get to keep as a memory. There was an ATV ride through private land with stunning views, a good variety of abseils, jumps, slides and ziplines through the canyon, lunch and snacks provided (the chips and cold fizzies at the end were just chefs kiss). Koryn himself was a fantastic guide with lots of great information about the history and ecology of the area, and provided lots of laughs. Had a really great time canyoning with Big Rock Adventures and our guide Luke. Ended up just the two of us on it which we loved as it meant less waiting around. Felt safe the entire time and Luke encouraged you to push yourself but was also patient when I whimped out of the big jump and he had to set up an abseil instead. The mini highlights video they produce is cool and you have a chance to purchase a full length one if you want.
