Great tennis court! I think it's best for social grade games or beginners games and practice. I think the council could maintain the net height. Its better than couple of years back where both the nets were sagging. Now only one net sags.
It the net height may be a good thing as well as I have seen more serious social players not preferring to play at that court leaving it for less serious ones.
Another good thing compared to Francis Park Couple of kilometers away at Cashmere road is the direction of the court. Yhe Centennial Park is N-S hence setting or raising Sun is not going to interfere to significant extent.
Finally the highlight is the court is FREE and no bookings required.
