Indian Paradise (Halal) — Attraction in Christchurch

If there is any way, I would have given zero stars. Such a low customer service and showing partiality to the customers. I was there in the shop today and bought food of around 47 NZD. First of the food was very late. They said, it will be ready in 20 mins while taking the order but the food came late after 45 mins. Secondly, I came with my kid and I have ordered quiet a lot of item. It was difficult to carry the food without a bag while holding my kids (2.5 years) hand. I asked them for a bag and they said, they going to charge 37 Cents extra. It's not about the money, what made me angry was that just 5 mins before they provide a free bag to another customer (which I believe as one of their friend or someone from their same community) who have bought only just two items. If they are going to charge for a bag for who have bought almost 50 NZD worth of takeway, it's okay. I won't care much. But they should be doing this for all the customers equally. Not like providing free items for some people and charging for others. This is like partiality towards the customers. You should learn to treat your customers equally. When I asked the front desk guy about this, he was not happy and said it's owners decision. Wow! good on you that and good customer service. Keep it up!. I would never ever return to this shop again and would never recommend them to anyone I knows. To all of you reading this, just expect such low level of customer...

I have ordered 2 container's of Chicken Biryani,I already mentioned it specifically that don't make it spicy and it was burning hot! I also asked if you could please sprinkle some fresh Coriander on top but the whole biryani hardly had any Coriander in it! Came in with 2 yoghurt which was all just water and God know how it's been made,Once I open the container and place it on a plate started eating and the chicken was still raw 🤮, believe me I didn't eat whole day bcoz the chicken was constantly in front of my eyes. This isn't a Halal money you make brother,First of all you don't care about customer's enquiry,Second all the chicken pieces you add into the box were bone and hardly any meat on them , Uncooked chicken can easily give you tummy bug's and here you are for being sick and having diarrhea for day's. I hope weather you change things in your restaurant or change your chief who doesn't know how to cook properly and whomever receive the order obviously don't communicate with the kitchen team .

I will not go back there ever...

I recently got a take away and, to my disappointment, I found that the portion sizes have been significantly reduced. I’ve always enjoyed my meals here in the past, but my last experience left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated.

I ordered the chicken Tikka roll, which used to be a generous serving, but what I received was shockingly small.The naan bread has gone small in size and It felt like I was paying for an appetizer when I expected an entree. It was the same for biriyani there were very few pieces of meat.I couldn't help but compare it to my previous visits, and it’s clear that the restaurant has cut back on what they serve.

While the quality of the food was still decent and the flavors were good, the diminished portion sizes overshadowed the experience. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you leave feeling hungry.

I truly hope that Indian Paradise reevaluates this decision. Dining out is supposed to be a satisfying experience, and I felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. Until then, I don’t think I’ll...
