10/10 5 star burgers 🍔 and impeccable service! 😁 Tonight I randomly typed in “burger and open now” onto google maps when I was across town, after going to the New Brighton Hot Pools, and thankfully I found this place with a rating of 4.9 stars‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💥👏😱🥳

The google maps hours are incorrect but I called at 9:26pm asking what time they are actually closed/if I could make a burger order… the friendly woman didn’t even tell me when her store closed, she just said of course yes and what would you like?! I hadn’t properly read the menu yet before calling so she kindly recommended about 4-5 menu items… I ordered her personal fav, Beef & Rings (a magical beef burger with onion rings and a bunch of other tasting toppings 😋 🤤 🤩)!

Turns out they actually close at 9:30pm but she didn’t hesitate to take my random phone order at 9:26pm and stay at work along with the chef just for my one small take-away burger order. Soooo nice, and almost unheard of in New Zealand I’ve found (usually people seem to really just care about closing/going home, and stop taking orders earlier than they’re supposed to!).

The burger was so good… I’ll be back tomorrow for lunch to try another burger lol, yes really!...

Employee asked me where I lived which was super unprofessional and came across as very creepy Edited due to business response Employees have never bothered to engage in conversation in the past and there are plenty of ways to ask questions about whether or not advertising techniques are working or how people have heard about the business without straight up asking customers where they live which is an invasion of privacy. There was nothing said in that interaction to indicate the employee was wondering about advertising or asking whether or not it were recommended by a friend. There was no conversation other than where do I live. Defending inappropriate employee behaviour is super disappointing to see. I'd recommend training staff to approach queries like this in a more professional manner if you're that concerned over whether or not your advertising techniques are working. I will not be returning...

Amazing burgers and milkshakes with terrific flavours. I had the best burger I’ve eaten in my entire life here!! The peanut butter milkshake is incredible. This restaurant is on its way to be the best in Christchurch.. the food here is far better than Riverside or anywhere else you could try in Christchurch. Iceburgg use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and the serving size is very generous. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, lots of parking outside. Chefs are very talented and passionate about what they do and this shows in the quality of the meal received. 100% worth the money. Thank you for making your delicious food, may your business be successful for years...
