A lot of the food was on sale because it's short dated. Some were on sale for having gone past the best before date.

But worst of all was the customer service. The elderly female "manager" was very rude. There were literally only myself and another Japanese customer in the shop with three staff. Before she had even finished serving me, she let the Japanese customer behind me pushed in. Shocked by such treatment, I asked for an explanation. She then said because the shop was busy. When I asked if it was because I was not Japanese she didn't say anything.

I had a wonderful feeling from visiting this place. It reminds me of my stay in Okinawa. The milk tea, soba, Japanese rice, red bean, the 100 yen products, sesame suave even the smell of the supermarket has a unique smell. It was clean and well organised. In spite of all the detail in preparing the Japanese products to customer, this shop still provide QR code for contact tracing purposes.
