Redwood Fried Foods — Attraction in Christchurch

Very average food this time around. It was a Tuesday, so maybe that was why, but chips were meagre and very different so I'm picking that this place has changed owners, for there is a difference. Had a pattie and it was overcooked and very thin. fish was okay but nothing spectacular, which for this shop itself is unusual. I will not be coming back soon anyway and I was a regular. such a shame, for F& C shops get custom based on word of mouth.

Edit: Fish and chips used to be an economic meal, but that is no longer the case. whilst I appreciate your response, you have greater issues other than product quality. As a customer who has choice, what we want is food cooked nicely and to get value for money, but I'm seeing a difference in what is supplied at your shop. I shouldn't have to ask you personally to get what I have paid for. I was embarrassed with what I had received and I could tell from the package that there was likely to be an issue, but has had to wait to verify. I looked at the pictures on some of the 5 star reviews and I should have received at least close to that but alas no. Right underneath my review is one for an order with 2 scoops of chips, with pictures and a 5 star review so you would think that one scoop would be half that right?
