I was recovering from recent bunion surgery and my mother inlaw & I decided to visit Hornby Mall as we hadn't been there for over a couple of years & we usually shop locally on the Eastside of Christchurch. We grabbed a park which we thought was 180 mn limit & first stop was some lunch. We had some delicious sushi, sat in the food court & it was very pleasant, not too noisy for these older ladies. We browsed the stores & enjoyed conversing with some lovely friendly customer service people & purchased some lovely items. After just over 2 hrs we decided to head home as my foot was becoming uncomfortable & swollen. After such a pleasant visit to the mall, I was totally shocked to be greeted by a parking ticket! Never in my lifetime of driving have I had a parking ticket, & after looking for some kind of notice all we could find was 180mn limit signs ! I don't think we will be returning in the future if this is the kind of nonsense that happens, & after being off work recovering for 8 weeks from foot surgery the $50 fine was not what I needed. Please look into the parking enforcement between the mall & The Warehouse where we were parked. I'm sure we won't be the only...

Though they have a lot of parking Spaces available, still parking can be a challenge during peak hours.
