Lloyd Elsmore Park — Attraction in Howick

This is a fantastic huge facility for the whole Eastern area of Pakuranga and Howick etc. with so many different sports clubs available such as rugby, netball, squash, bowls, hockey, cricket, BMX, skate board, swimming, gym, athletics and more. The very strong Pakuranga Rugby club is within the park and the large Pakuranga Netball Association clubs, the park really does have something for everyone. There's a brand new children's playground being constructed plus of course there is the large, extremely well setup Howick Historical Village which is amazing to visit for both young and old with a very great quality Cafe attached. Lloyd elsmore park is spacious and definitely a place to go to be outdoor with your kids. They have cricket, soccer, rugby, hockey, netball, softball, bowls and athletics teams practicing and versing other teams here. There are club rooms for most the sports listed. There is a bike track to practice balance and has little obstacle course (located behind the historical village)there also is a small skate park next to the public indoor pools and the bmx circle track. There is a playground across the road from the swimming pools and one near the rugby club. It's always been a very amazing place for my Athletics Club Howick/pakuranga to train for monthly events every Saturday afternoon and also a fantastic venue for actual events and Competitions and we actually train at Yvette Williams Track on a Saturday afternoon every week and we've trained at Lloyd Elsmore Park for a lot years and I have been part of Howick/pakuranga Special Olympics for 22 years practically as an Athlete, and for 10 years since I'd been with my Howick/pakuranga Special Olympics Athletics Club it was a grass track, and it was very amazed to see that 12 years ago they changed it to a rubber track and it has been by far our go to place to train for Athletics Track and Field for Howick/pakuranga...
