The Bluff Hill Lookout providing visitors with sweeping views across Hawkes Bay and particularly nice look at Napier Port where container ships can be seen being loaded or offloaded, just below the bluff.
It seems two 6-inch guns were placed there during the WWII war time period. Today, you find an open structure with table, a few seat, a directional alidade, nice flowers planted in front of the structure and great views of the sea and surrounding area.

Or take the less steep track down Sturms gully with well established native and imported trees. Sturms gully also has a picnic table for a nice shaded area to relax in summer. The look out includes a large sundial with distances of local area marked. Not easily accessible by large vehicles such as camper vans and buses. Rather than just one house on top of the hill where the guy never bothers to look at his view because he sees it every morning . It is a amazing place chill with people you know .
