There's an extremely older woman that works at the customer service desk, i asked her a question and she very rudely replies what do you want to know. I was surprised by her response that i decided to leave. As i was leaving i witnessed her accusing an elderly pensioner of stealing and demanding to see the receipt. It's disgusting you employ such impertinent people to work at your store. The store wasn't busy and i can see why. I have been put off shopping at your store again. After reading other reviews on here, it looks like this member of your staff has done this to other customers previously prior to it happening to me. My advice is to you to give this woman some training on how to behave on customer service, she was very impertinent and looked like she didn't even want...

Earlier on this afternoon I was at new world paraparaumu, I was served by a very rude older woman at the customer service desk. I am always polite n friendly to staff. She spoke very rudely, to me. I politely asked her for a price list which all supermarkets have. Her reply was what do ya wanna know, I looked at her with surprise n responded that I'd like to see the prices please, she was very clearly annoyed at this. I could go on but I won't. My ten yr old son was with me and and as left the supermarket he said mum why was that lady mean to uou? I replied that perhaps she was having a bad day. My son said you should have said something. I wish I did. It's put me right off going back there again. Other staff there have always been lovely but definitely not...

Wendy Wendy Wendy when will your learn! You need to learn how to do your job properly, licensing does not involve challenging me every single day, when you've id'd me 6 times this week alone! She had my Id in her hands (I'm 30) and regected my 36 yo partner...absolute joke

I was making a purchase no one else, lemme guess you'll ID a baby when mum is trying to buy wine... yeah I thought not

Now I am formally complaining because your customer service and most importantly and lacking is your common sense. Your enept at your job...stack shelves instead, customer facing is simply not for you.

Thanks to the duty manager/supervisor who was incredibly helpful and helped me formally complain.

I won't be coming back to new world....
