You can not beat wellington on a good day. That saying also brings true for Plimmmerton Beach.
The beach itself is massive and has plenty of spots for everyone, so it is hard to feel crowded. The sand is flat and warm, which makes it perfect for taking off your jandals or sandals.
The water is always warm, which makes it a delight to slowly wade into after catching some runs on shore.
Top all of that off with picturesque views over the harbour, and you have a perfect spot for a day of sun and sand.
