Very nice spot. Not suitable for swimming cause of the rocks and wildlife (Seals & Penguins). Perfect view point even for groups to relax and if you are an adventurer you even can go a bit further to have an astonishing view over the coastline. Definitely worth a visit!

Very nice easy walk if you take your dog please leave only foot and paw prints take everything else away with you . So everyone can enjoy this unique walk and see some of Dunedin's history.

A lot of surfers. Nothing much to do on the beach itself. The beach walk if quite short. A lot of small business and cafe in the area hence can be hard to find parking.

A series of these photos of the waves splashing into the shores or sea walls on Friday, 9 July between 12:31pm and 1:10pm in the afternoon at Dunedin city's second beach with track access from Esplanade, which has its main beach views before rain shower in time, as the temperature's reading was 8 degrees approximately. A great recommendation's so helpful for gaining challenges, as I went with Trixie Vosseler the driver and support worker leading her dog...

Nice walk in from the Saltwater pool / cafe. Natural rocky beach which is seldom calm. Lovely granite miniature formations with open access. I can ride my bike in and it's only 5mins. Saw Right Whales a couple of years ago only 50m...
