I went to Stampede with my little family on Sunday 24th July. The attitude of the Host and waiter were really rude and felt unapproachable. I asked the waiter if we were able to get two jugs of fizz drinks for my little family and she spoke over me by saying "No we don't have those"; I politely asked what kind of drinks do you serve" then again with a quick reply "look at our drink menu". I tried to find the drink menu but didn't want the waiter to be waiting any longer so I politely asked her and she quickly stated "in the drink Menu"; I even added by asking her "what flavor fizz drinks do you have" as the drink menu showed a huge amount of Wine and beer selections. She looked at me with a quick reply "in the Drinks Menu". I eventually find it on the very last page in small writing with only 8 words amongst the beer and wine section.

At this point I felt ashamed and overwhelmed with the minimal assistance (Customer service) of the restaurant; even from the time we entered the restaurant. The host gave the cold shoulder; as well as the waiter not really being approachable and also giving the cold should; it honestly made me feel like they didn't want me and my family there; I started to look around on how they were serving other customers and they were smiling and offering plates, cutlery but when they came to us; they honestly looked angry as if we did something wrong; My boy was even asking if I was ok and kept staring at the waiter, giving her the evil eyes lol. I understand they may have been short staff and quite busy but I would have at least expect some respect and appreciation; a sense of welcoming into the restaurant like any other customer there that day. Very disappointed at the customer service; highly recommend to re-train the customer service there and provide proper restaurant Etiquette.

The food was amazing which definitely saved the day; Highly recommend the food there however customer service needs work. So...

A Disappointing Experience

My recent visit to Stampede Restaurant left much to be desired. Arriving with my family on a Wednesday evening, we encountered a series of service mishaps that significantly detracted from our dining experience.

Customer Service: The initial wait for service was prolonged (20 mins) exacerbated by staff seemingly prioritizing table-clearing over attending to diners. Even after securing the attention of senior staff, we were met with delays and dismissive responses.

Ordering and Food Service: Our order was inaccurately taken, missing an item, and the subsequent wait for our meals exceeded an hour without any forewarning of delays. Disappointingly, the food served was partially cold, and portion sizes were notably inadequate, particularly with the burger meals that you can clearly see in the photo below, there is probably half a cup of chips.

Culinary Quality: The quality of the meals further disappointed, with inadequately portioned sauces and mushroom servings, significantly affecting the overall enjoyment of the dishes, finding only three mushrooms in a pot of sauce is poor quality.

Verdict: Stampede Restaurant's service was lacking, marked by rude staff and subpar meal quality. My only recommendation might be for beverages and the service provided by the pool table, as the rest of the dining experience was notably unsatisfactory.

Waiter and waitress were very friendly though busy restaurant which was a good sign.

Started with fizzy drinks reasonable to low price good very suprised, my partner also ordered a pink panther mocktail which was visually lovely, tasty and cost only $4 😋

I ordered the stampede burger which came with a side of chips. It did on the menu offer shoe string chips but was not offered the choice was extremely happy with my own burger and chips meal. Very large portion size soooo tasty had beef and chrispy bacon and some yummy amazing sauces along with the usual vege perfection! 😋

Partner had the lamb shanks gravy and shanks seasoned and cooked to perfection only gripe was the potatoe mash which was also seasoned and buttery..was a bit much with oily meat and gravy? Would have paired better with a plain mash to balance out the richness of the gravy and meat 👌

We shared our dessert half and half so we could have a taste of both 😊 I had half the Apple pie first nothing special. I've brought better at the supermarket..both desserts came with an amazing ice cream and whipped cream which paired perfectly with the desserts..

My favorite was the chocolate tart was amazinggg!!!! My new favorite dessert of all time has a very thick, solid, tough base but the innards paired with the ice cream... I want to eat it again right...
