Percy Thomson Gallery — Attraction in Taranaki

Feb 24: I have emailed and phoned Laura Campbell PTG curator; with two exhibition exhibition proposals and followed up several times over the 2022/23/24 period, and also recently spoke to PTG staff and SDC regarding this situation. To date I have received NO RESPONSE from Laura. These facts and outcomes, which Laura can agree with - speak for themselves. In my view, a clear demonstration of unprofessional Standards, Procedures, Policy & Practices. Hence, I do not recommend interacting with this Gallery or their staff. They may ignore you. Dr Wayne Wilson-Wong (Doc FA). So I attempted to lodge a formal complaint with hopes they might do the right thing, and improve. Update: JUNE 24 - matter still unresolved several month on, SDC less than cooperative and been told me, not our problem, talk to the PTG Trustee, they said they have discussed the matter (in July 24). Where is the accountability and professional responsibility - I will keep the Public posted/review. Do not recommend putting proposals in with PTG, or Formal Complaints - Laura may ignore it and you may experience delay tactics and less than convincing excuses (treatment of public). The SDC and PTG, are in a binary relationship - the gallery is a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO).24 August 24. Despite Bruce Ellis the PT trustee saying he will resolve my formal complaint, similar to Laura, they has continued to ignore the situation. These further facts and outcomes speak for themselves. There appears to be no accountability regarding formal complaints process at PT, which is a public gallery/institution. They simply do not care. Be warned people. These people are a law unto themselves… and may ignore you and your issues and concerns. Appalling professional standards...
