Masala Bay Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Taranaki

This was our third visit to the Masala Bay Restaurant, since moving from the Wellington region to South Taranaki. Just can't fault this place! Wellington has an abundance of great Indian restaurants but the Masala would give any of them a run for their money. The Chicken Nawabi was sublime - ordered HOT and that's what it was - hot!! But not unbearably hot but just how it should be. I might be tempted to try the EXTREME HOT option next time round. And the Vegetable Samosas ..Oh WOW..they are the best. I just can't recommend this place enough - don't pass it by - a couple of door's up from Stratford's remarkable...

Just visited tonight for the first time after hearing from work mates how nice the food was. Lovely quiet shop , with awesome service we were greeted immediately and looked after throughout our time there. We dined in and had Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken with Cheesy Garlic Naan - the Naan was absolutely delicious !! And we could not fault the meals they were perfect. Portion sizes were generous and we had to get a take away container as couldn’t finish. Safe to say after a lovely experience like that we will for sure be returning customers...

Very disappointed, I order indo-Chinese chicken fried rice and chicken tikka masala, but seems like kitchen shelf were empty when they made order. literally there was only rice, egg and piece of tandoori chicken in dish, No cabbage, No carrot, No spring onion, Soya sauce.

my mate were saying his chicken tikka masala was like chicken serve with tomato paste.

Restaurant owner should stop taking advantage being only Indian restaurant in Stratford and give food what...
