Te Onekiritea Park — Attraction in Upper Harbour

It is early days for this park and still requires work to be done. Public toilets around this area are sparse. The walking tank at times should result be upgraded from the old days when the air force used the area. Considering this area is listed as have marine and wild life in the area, i personally feel dogs should be on leads and not running off madly. Major negative for me and others is the real lack of seating! It would be nice being able to sit and enjoy the view, but sadly no seating around this point :( lots of room...

At times you wouldnt realise your in the middle of a new building/construction zone. Such a stunning coastal walk. Ps only place off leash for dogs is the dog park-(take water for your pooch the council didn't provide...

Nice walk, pleasant easy track with some nice views, be much better when they finish removing the asbestos from the old military buildings and sort out all the fencing and...
