Rifle Range Amphitheatre — Attraction in Upper Harbour

Attended a friend's birthday party here. This place is at Hobsonville point. These who live around here know that there is also a community bbq place. This serves as a place where people can have meetings. They have good toilets, lovely green grass for people to sit, it's a bring your own chair place but who would if mother nature offers a green place. Loved it. I don't know about booking but when l asked my friend, she said it's first come first serve, negotiable as it's main purpose is to serve the community. A happy situated place .

A hidden gem.

Good place for a small performance. Maybe the stage is not facing the best direction, the sun is too dazzling in the evening for the audience. There is a tall wall behind the stage, I guess it's for containing the sound during the performance, but there is no residential housing after the wall, instead the houses are on the side just across the road, I think it could be annoying for those people...

Awesome venue, super easy to organise hire! Comes with lots of free equipment to use including chairs, tables and outdoor games. There are a couple of power points on site too which we hired a speaker separately for. I had my 21st here and it was a great event. The undercover space was great to have in case there was rain!
