Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart — Attraction in Wellington

This place is under repairs and upgrade work right now.. I attended a mass that was conducted in the proper Catholic rite in the Conolly Hall, adjoining the church on the last Sunday of Jan '21.. I look forward to writing a review after the church is re-inaugurated shortly.. This Cathedral has been closed for an extended amount of time to reinforce it in the event of earthquakes. Situated on the side of a steep hill the site has great views over the city. The entrance when I visited was not through the front but via the vestibule to the right of the building. This may not be the case when there are services.
