. (12/2017) Beautiful and well maintained beach with splendid views. Most of the beach is covered with shells and you have to be careful while stepping on the rocks. Good place for rowing as well as surfing and on a clear day you may notice some enjoying surfing. The beach is extended on both sides and keeps getting narrower. One can easily access both ends during low tide. This bay also serves as a one end for Kevin Lynch walkway. This is a nice place to take rest in case you are on that walkway. The walkway is maintained quite well. A good place to do a get-together or organise a barbeque or picnic on a sunny day. Seating and benches are provided for taking rest and enjoying the views at this location. There is no dedicated parking area available for this location although ample street parking can be found at the entrance. There is wheelchair accessible entrance towards the beach. Public restrooms are available at...

Quite little beach, lovely for picnics and it has a nice easy walking track to Blockhouse Bay Beach. The ocean is not suitable for swimming which is a shame because the water looks inviting. When the tide is out you can walk around the rocks but need to be mindful of quick sand. No car access to the beach front, so you have to carry everything down and back up a steep hill. Plenty of road parking at the top, try to make 1 trip with everything to avoid walking up the hill continuously. Read the Green Bay Beach signs as it gives you important information...

On 24/9/2023, my husband and I went to Green Bay Beach for a walk.

Unfortunately, the weather was not so good and it rained for most of the day. We managed to take a stroll along the beach. There was a steep trail leading to the beach and we took our steps carefully as the floor was very slippery.

There were some people walking their dogs, fishing and walking there. The beach was quite quiet so we could enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness there.

We recommend you to wear your gumboots there as the beach is muddy...

Wear shoes or gumboots! Rocky, muddy, crabs and glass. Not good for swimming or fishing as is polluted. Apart from all of that, the scenery is nice, cute little rock pools and crabs, not many people. Also has a picnic table and a nice seat to sit on to look at the view and has stairs leading up to a walk up along the cliff.
