Green Bay Beach — Attraction in Whau

Beautiful location but very windy. Council had signs up warning about quicksand, crumbling ground and some other issues including discouraging swimming in the ocean due to water quality.

I’m sure it’s much more appealing in summer and when a cyclone hasn’t recently hit the country.

I hope to visit later this year and...
